Press shoot taken in the atmospheric settings of Penarth Pier back in August 2007, which was the perfect setting for this Vettriano-inspired shoot. A fun shoot from a few weeks back now for friend of ours who really wanted some kinda different profile pics for facebook amongst other things. I spotted the location from a previous shoot we did nearby in the woods right by it ... got there at an amazing time - just as the light was dipping. The contrast between the clothes and the rollerskates with the countryside location make this photo (oh, as well as the lovely model of course!) [slide]

This was a really fun shoot and our first of 2009. It was one of those shoots where i had rooted round some flea markets and the backs of shops for that kinda stuff 'money just can't buy' ... i remember making sure that we had rollers on the set and in my mind i was after a 'straight outta hackney' affair as well as the pink nightie that was my steal of the day. The shoot was kinda inspired by the hollies track 'gasoline alley bred'. All i have to do now is sell some of the stuff i bought ... pink nightie anyone? [slide]
